Small Arancini Press
thingiverse
Arancini are Sicilian treats made from stuffed rice balls coated with breadcrumbs before being deep-fried. My mother occasionally makes them by hand, but she recently discovered an Arancini press online that she wanted to order. Unfortunately, it couldn't be delivered for several weeks, so I searched Thingiverse and found a design. Later, she asked me to create a smaller version - suitable for appetizers - so I designed this one. The arancini produced will measure about 2 inches in diameter. You can also print the model at 85% size to achieve golf ball-sized arancini. You can view an exploded diagram here. I also possess a full-size design, which is a remix of the original printed version that I'll upload soon. The Fusion 360 file used for designing it has been included so you can make adjustments easily. **NOTE**: Ensure these are made in a food-safe manner, such as by printing and coating them with a safe food-grade material.
