Small arabian houses 1/100 scale
thingiverse
Just small buildings I needed for a diorama, inspired by a desert house I discovered here recently. If you'd like to have accessories such as furniture for the buildings or things on the Roof, please let me know - I'll create a set of those afterwards. So far, I only have an A/C and the gas tank in place, but what else would you like to see? Let me know! If you decide to print this out, please share a photo! Scale-to-scale prints can be achieved at: 1/100 with a 1,00 scale, 1/96 at 1,04 scale, 1/84 at 1,19 scale, 1/76 at 1,32 scale, 1/72 at 1,39 scale, 1/68 at 1,47 scale, 1/54 at 1,85 scale, 1/48 at 2,08 scale, 1/32 at 3,13 scale, 1/24 at 4,17 scale, and 1/18 prints are available for a very large 5,56 scale. Printer settings are as follows: Brand - RepRap, Printer - Prusa i3 C Dual Head, Rafts - Doesn't Matter, Supports - No, Resolution - 0.15 - 0.2mm, Infill - 10% due to the roof structure. Here's what you need to know about printing this object: Prints are easily achievable without supports at 190-200°C using PLA material (see photo). Both a 0,3mm and a 0,4mm nozzle work fine for the original size, but when scaling it down, use a smaller nozzle to bring out wall details. This diorama was designed by me. First, I drew the footprint sketch and extruded that shape. Then, I added the roof beams and roof - both are simply oblong sketches extruded in three dimensions. The next step involved cutting out windows and doors from these designs. Later on, I added the roof walls and stairs to the wall by extruding a single line of the sketch. Final details were achieved by extruding cutaways into the walls. Designing this took about 90 minutes in total.
