Small Altar

Small Altar

I crafted a weathered altar, abandoned in the scorching desert. Using Maya as my canvas, I designed the object's core form before transporting it to Zbrush for the intricate process of sculpting its cracks and damage. Once that meticulous task was complete, I skillfully reduced the model to ensure seamless integration into a game environment. To preserve the subtle nuances in the floor's texture, I deliberately retained extra geometry during this refinement stage. With the model now optimally sized, I expertly baked the high-resolution details onto its lower-poly counterpart. Finally, I transported the refined game-res temple into Substance and lovingly painted it with a rugged concrete texture that perfectly captures the desolate atmosphere of its desert surroundings.
