Small adjustable dowel cutting jig
thingiverse
I am currently developing a custom jig for precision cutting small dowels to precise lengths, specifically tailored for my razor cutter that features a unique 6.5mm offset from its center axis, allowing adjustments in 10mm increments. The primary application of this device will be to facilitate the efficient creation of regular and robust bamboo skewers. Additionally, I foresee potential for utilizing a variation of this design as a component for crafting story poles, which could ultimately serve as building blocks for more intricate structures such as geodesic domes, inspired by similar designs available on websites like Thingiverse (e.g., http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:317677). The specified cutting device I use is a pair of handheld nippers, closely resembling the Craftsman 9-37300 model.
