Hey guys! Check out this project I've been working on for a few months now. It's a small frame that you can print as a first step into robotics and it makes for a really cool toy to learn programming and arduino - or, you know, spy on your neighbors I hope you like it. Don't forget to comment and share if you do. Edits: 1) I added a new leg design (pate v2), which is lighter, thinner, and prints faster; consider using it instead of the old one. Instructions Parts List: To make this robot, you'll need 18 9-gram servos for the legs and one for the ultrasonic module in the front - that's 19 total. If ordering from Hobby King, be sure to get one or two extra just in case some are defective. The servos I used can be found at this link: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__9549__Turnigy_TG9e_9g_1_5kg_0_10sec_Eco_Micro_Servo.html For the Arduino Mega, head to this URL: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__46901__Mega_2560_ATmega2560_16AU_Board_plus_USB_Cable_.html This ultrasonic module works perfectly for this project and can be ordered at: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__31136__Ultrasonic_Module_HC_SR04_Arduino.html To keep things powered up, use a small 7.4v (2s) 1A battery, available here: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=37010
