Small 2" x 8-1/2" Shelf
thingiverse
I drew up a compact shelf I could anchor to the wall with thumbtacks in Tinkercad at lightning speed. The initial version had walls only 1/16" thick, but they warped severely when printed, prompting me to refine my design and thicken the walls to 1/8" for a sturdier build. This second iteration takes longer to print, but it produces a remarkably stable product. This particular shelf was created with Zentoolworks Clear filament on a DaVinci 1.0 3D printer. To assemble your shelf, you may need to adjust the orientation of the part so that the mounting holes are facing downward. If your 8x8 print bed is limited in size, it's a good idea to rotate the shelf at a 45-degree angle during printing to ensure a secure fit.
