Our math teacher was on a mission to find a 15x15 Cartesian Geoboard just like the one available at Hand2Mind's website. Since buying a class set would be too expensive, we decided to take matters into our own hands and fabricate our own. ![alt text](https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.com/v1/thumbnail/P7DuMBbiSumNGWORnD5qGg?viewBox=1004%2C907&ownerId=A3QS81I1K47C70 "Laser Cut Geoboards") We designed a simple 15 x 15 grid of 0.120" holes to create individual geoboards for teaching cartesian grid concepts. The holes were sized so that with the kerf of our laser cutter, they would come out 0.125". A 1/8" metal rod was cut down to 1" pegs that can be used with rubber bands to create geometric shapes on the Cartesian grid. There are many lessons and curricula that use the Geoboard, including this one from Hand2Mind's website. There are also online alternatives to the Geoboard available for those who prefer a digital experience.
