SMA Antenna Telltale
thingiverse
I use a TBS CrossFire Module with my QX7 paired with a Diamond antenna. Transporting the TX with the antenna attached is not feasible, but I can quickly turn on the TX and utilize it within a short range without the antenna attached and without realizing it. Although the Crossfire boasts robustness in this regard, it's still not advisable to operate without proper precautions. To rectify this situation, I've designed a simple reminder that necessitates attaching the antenna before powering on. The 3D component is a TPU push/twist fit, which I attach to the CrossFire SMA connector every time I detach the antenna. Update: October 8th, 2018 I added antennatelltalev3.stl to the design. This updated version features a slightly wider hole for easier fitting onto the SMC connector. If you find the V2 one too snug, try this alternative instead. Note: Exercise caution when attaching it to the SMA connector - proceed at your own risk.
