This adapter was designed specifically to securely attach small diaphragm condenser microphones to Shure SM57 mics for capturing precise snare drum recordings. Its design draws inspiration from the original A26M mic mount by Shure and other commercial mounts, but with a key difference: it's printed on demand. I opted for Hatchbox ABS material, which yielded an impressively robust part that not only met my expectations but exceeded them. The adapter's spring-like flexibility makes it easy to attach microphones securely, while its rugged construction ensures it can withstand minor impacts without sustaining damage. This particular adapter is compatible with condenser mics up to 20mm in diameter, making it a versatile solution for various recording applications.
