The indigenous post war design that dominates the Altan region is the SM-2 base model. This model has spawned multiple unique variants, each tied to a specific time and location of its origin. Some notable models include: The SM-2 pistol in open bolt full auto configuration, seized from nomad bandits, chambered for 9x17 Browning (showing signs of rust but likely operational). The SM-2 carbine in open bolt semi auto only configuration, purchased from a private gun maker, chambered in 9x19 Parabellum. The M-20 SMG in closed bolt striker fired select fire configuration, outfitted with a suppressor and plastic components instead of wood, captured from mercenaries, chambered in 11x23 Browning (.45 ACP).
