Sluice for 40mm Cablechannel
thingiverse
I designed this Hopperbox and the accompanying feet for a standard 40mm cable channel to build a fine siphon for finest gold glitter, e.g. from the Rhine. A small aquarium pump serves as the pump. The feet were chosen in height so that a Haribox can be used as a water reservoir for the pump. Cut the cable channel to a length of 90cm. This requires printing and cutting the enclosed gutter mat three times. Shift the feet to determine the water flow. Drill a hole at the back of the Hopperbox for the hose and attach it with the included reinforcement plate. To simplify the pressure, I removed one side wall, which can be printed separately and then glued on. The footplates are also glued together with the feet. At the front of the Hopperbox, I added two strips, into which you can insert the water glider cut from a standard plastic packaging.
