This slug trap consists of three parts: * The ring-shaped feeder is placed on the garden ground and filled with slug pellets based on Iron III phosphate. * The peg is pierced through the middle hole of the feeder and holds everything securely in position. The peg can also be filled with some beer, preferably leftover or expired, to increase the trap's attractiveness. However, the beer in this trap construction is not intended to drown the slugs. * The roof is placed on top of the peg and serves to protect the slug pellets from rain and accidental consumption by birds or other animals. It is best to place a snail trap at each corner of the vegetable patch so that snails from outside do not plow through the entire vegetable patch before they find the trap.
