Slug
thingiverse
We're turning our "Spool Snail" into a slug in an instant by removing its shell, and we're printing ours with Ninjaflex filament so it's nice and squishy. Our Print Settings Include: Rafts? No. Supports? None either. Resolution? A super sharp 0.2 mm. Infill Percentage? We went with 10%. Notes from our slug-printing experience - We had to fiddle around with the settings on Makerbot desktop because Ninjaflex is a bit of a trickster to print correctly, so we turned the fan up all the way and slowed down the print speed to 30 mm/s for every single layer, except bridges which required an even quicker pace at 40 mm/s. And then there was retraction settings - 0.5 mm distance, 15 mm/s speed to get the job done right!
