In the spirit of Halloween, I've designed a collapsible knife prop that's specifically tailored for use with an SLS printer. The handle of this knife contains both the internal spring component and the blade stopper, making it impossible to disassemble these parts. To ensure proper function, the spring should be compressed at a ratio of 1/3. This entire object is intended to be printed in Nylon PA11, which will allow the spring to operate effectively without breaking. The attached image provides an enlarged view of the collapsible knife's inner workings, giving you a clearer understanding of its design. I've also created a FDM printable version, which I'll be happy to share with you.
