Slow Feed Cat Bowl

Slow Feed Cat Bowl

My girlfriend's cat has a tendency to gobble her food too quickly, which frequently results in her vomiting on our bed or Persian rug. We attempted using a store-bought bowl that was excessively large and failed to effectively slow her down. Additionally, it was too deep for the amount of food we give her at each sitting, aiming to ensure she remains satisfied without becoming fatter. This bowl took me approximately 2 minutes to design in OpenSCAD and roughly 3 hours to print, holding a quarter cup of dry food remarkably well. She is now eating significantly slower with this new bowl. I printed it using PLA since I'm out of PETG, but PETG would be my preferred choice due to its technical classification as food-grade, even though I suspect it's not a major concern considering my nozzle is definitely not food-safe. My OpenSCAD code is included for anyone who wishes to modify any of the variables. You can easily create the posts iteratively; I simply didn't bother since copying and pasting took minimal time.
