Slotted waveguide for TP-link WR703N

thingiverse

This slotted waveguide antenna, designed for tp-link WR703N WiFi travel routers, features a pie-segment radiation pattern (120 degrees horizontally, narrower vertically) and requires no router modifications. Made from 3mm plywood, it assembles without the front panel; an extra offset compensates for laser kerf thickness. Attach aluminum foil to the inside and backside of the front panel, excluding slots, then glue or tape the tp-link box in place at the bottom edge. The final step is closing with the front panel, ensuring electrical contact for optimal performance. Note that TV interface may be broken, so refer to Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/protospace/8527427267/in/photostream) for an image, and links to protospace.nl provide design calculations and more pictures in Dutch.
