Mounting an M3 threaded spacer requires precision, and I achieved this by attaching a larger fan to my mainboard using it. To avoid measuring exact dimensions of the holes around the board, I opted for slotted holes that can be adjusted later. This solution may not benefit everyone, but perhaps it will inspire others to utilize slotted holes as well.
