Slotted Disc Maker

I required a slotted disc for my speed sensor/optical rotary encoder project. It appeared to be an ideal opportunity to experiment with OpenSCAD and break out the customizer. Don't worry about the messy look in the customizer preview - it prints clean and neat. Ha! I searched extensively before starting, but now that I've released this design, I found someone who created a better version earlier: Check out jwick123's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1679204 for a more customizable disc with various shaft mounts/set screw holes/etc. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Simple Black Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Good enough Infill: Whatever works best Notes: I'd recommend using dark filament. Translucent and white filaments allowed too much IR to pass through, causing issues - but I could probably adjust that in the code...
