Slotted Base (Rounded Edge)

This is an adaptable base design concept. Print at 0.1mm or thicker layers without supports for a base with a push-through cover on the slot. For models lacking tabs, print as above and secure by gluing in place. If your model features a fragile tab that requires balance, consider printing at 0.05mm or thinner layers with support for a push-into support on the slot hole. I produce these bases in batches of ten using my Anet A8 printer set to 0.1mm layer thickness and generate a customized file when additional support is needed (slot infill).
