Introducing the Sloth DLP RepRap, a z-axis design for a lemoncurry-like DLP printer. This third iteration requires an acrylic stage mounted on aluminum angle. Further updates may come with additional components. Check out the first image for an impression of the planned build, and stay tuned for progress updates on this platform and at http://blog.krieft.de/2012/04/11/dlp-drucker/. The bill of materials includes: 2 LM8UU linear bearings with wire straps, 2 smooth rods (8mm), 2 threaded rods (M8), 5 M8 screws and nuts, a aluminum angle (refer to the image for hole tapping details), 1 NEMA17 stepper motor, 1 coupling for the stepper motor, 2 distance screws, and ~11 M4 screws with washers and nuts. For assembly clarification, feel free to ask questions here and additional instructions will be provided.
