A Simple Solution for a Brighter View: A DIY Flashlight Camera Mount A Remix of MrMartiniMo's CR-10 Camera Mount, Repurposed to Shine a Light on Your Subject Matches Articulating Camera Mount https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4123940 <table width="100%"> <tr> <td width="50%"><img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/800/1*bWY5P2pD4cQm6g5nZGv3iw.png" alt="" /></td> <td width="50%"><img src="https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/max/800/1*F0u9RkI8Xe3f7T8xTz8KKA.png" alt="" /></td> </tr> </table> Supplies Needed • Dollar store, gas station, or Walmart flashlight • Resistor (calculate using Ohm's Law) • Thin wire for routing in unused rail slot behind PSU Assembly Instructions 1. Disassemble the flashlight and remove the head. 2. Solder wires to the head as shown below (fig 1). The inner ring should be the cathode (+) and the outer ring should be the anode (-). 3. Pass the wires through the cap. 4. Insert the bolt into the head, ensuring it's snug to prevent spinning. 5. Fit the LEDs into the head. 6. Press the cap into the head. 7. Assemble the rest of the arms as shown below (fig 2). 8. Slide the assembly onto the rail. 9. Wire as needed. Important: No resistor is included in the flashlight head; ensure to add one according to your power supply needs.
