Slot Car Track Wall Supports and Fence Posts

Supports for mounting 1-1/2" screen cap as a wall around a slot car track are available. The UPC tag for the screen cap, shown in the pictures as a white wall, is commonly found at home improvement stores. Fencing made from plastic leaf guard material used on gutters provides support for the track. Small zip ties hold it in place. Two files are included for the supports: one shown in the pictures and another designed for use on edges of 1/2" MDF boards where space is limited. Print the fence post lying down using Cura's "adaptive layers" feature, found under the experimental section. This will create a smooth finish around the outside diameter despite printing the post on its side. A separate file is available for connecting two pieces of screen cap that need to butt together.
