These 1/32 scale inside curve borders for Scalextric (and others) slot car tracks are designed with a modern twist on the classic Scalextric piano key borders. They closely resemble rumble strips found around full-scale race tracks. The hollow borders require additional support to ensure stability. To achieve this, I use a "grid" at 10% infill and leave the supports intact. The first two images showcase two R3 borders, while the third image features an R4 border. A recent addition includes lead-in lead-out pieces, which have rounded ends to prevent a squared-off appearance when grouping multiple borders together.
