Slit lamp breath shield
thingiverse
My wife is an ophthalmologist, and she was frustrated because the hospital didn't have a breath shield for the slit lamp. So I came up with this solution for her. To make it work, you'll need to attach a piece of clear acrylic to the bottom edge of this bracket so that it can be hung over the eye pieces of the slit lamp as a makeshift breath shield. I used a 30cm x 20cm sheet of 2mm thick acrylic. Any A4 sized plastic sheet would also work, just stick it to the bar with double sided tape. ### Updated March 17, 2020 Version 2 has a shorter IPD distance and a larger ring diameter to fit more slit lamps. If you need further modifications, send me a message. ### Updated March 18, 2020 Version 3 has thinner rings for better fit on some slit lamp models.
