Lighted Alternative Surround Fan Shroud for MK3s

I remixed Darazsweb's alternative fan shroud and added rings to hold 3mm LEDs. You will need adequate experience with soldering, and basic electrical circuits to perform this mod. I wired this up to the 5V header on the Einsy RAMBo (see picture). Depending on the LEDs you use, and whether you wire them serial or parallel (recommend parallel for even brightness), you'll need to add an inline resistor. Here's a good calculator for figuring out the resistor size based on the values for your LEDs.http://ledcalc.com/#calcYou can also use the 12v on the J19 header or tap the 24v from the main power supply but, the more source voltage you start with, the larger watt resistor you'll need to dissipate the heat from the wasted power, so try to use 5v if at all possible.As far as mounting the bulbs, just drop them in and secure with a little dab of superglue. If the bulbs won't fit, it's probably due to settings in your slicer or the mechanical realities of 3D printing. If this happens, drill out the hole with a 1/8" drill bit and you'll be good to go!See the attached pics for suggestions on wire routing and heat shrinking.Print with PETG or ABS. If you can print with clear filament, it would probably have a more diffuse/even look to the lighting, but I didn't have any at the time of printing. Enjoy!
