Slip-On Prusa Belt Bushing

Slip-On Prusa Belt Bushing

thingiverse

Missing steps on a Prusa might be caused by a belt caught between the fender washer and bearing. A solution is GregFrost's belt guide, but it requires disassembling the printer. Alternatively, use these belt bushings that slip over the rod and can be installed with minimal effort. They fill gaps between the bearing and washer, reducing binding. Print six copies of the bushing. Loosen one or both nuts around each pulley, slide the bushing onto the threaded rod, and tighten the nuts again. Adjust pulley position relative to idlers for proper belt alignment.
