My 150mm G Claron lens has a 35mm filter thread, but I don't have any 35mm filters to work with. The threads also have a slight ding in them, which would make it difficult to screw on a 35mm filter anyway. So, I came up with this solution - a slip-on 52mm filter adapter (I just happen to have several of those).
