Slingshot Mini Wrist

Slingshot Mini Wrist

This is an iteration of a previous design that I had for a wearable toy blaster. In the end I came up with this discrete mini slingshot. This toy shoots pretty far and is fun to use and very low profile on my wrist. Most of the parts are 3D printed with PP the top holder was printed with a different filament but could also be printed in pp as it’s just a band holder and guidance rail for the projectile. For the non 3D printed parts the screws are M1.4 x 3 , and M1.4 x 2.4 form a watch and glasses screw kit I bought from amazon. The holders also have the glasses end caps to hold the elastic band. The band is from a mega blocks toy kit but I am sure any other elastic rope for elastic bead bands could work the same if not better if you tie them through the holes in the design. Below are the printing parametersBed Temp : 80°CPrint speed : 15 mm/s Nozzle Temp : 225°CBed Prep : scotch packing tapeTo assemble the model it’s pretty straight forward just screw in the respective peices together like show in the pictures and it should work. For post processing just clean up the holes in the design and pre-insert the screws to make sure they tried the polymer and prep the holes for assembly. The ammunition is just cut up Q-tips with a notch on one end for the line to grab.Note : the rear two holes are optional for added rigidity.
