Summary Some 32mm bases for your tabletop army fighting for the father of deseases. They are inspired by the veiny texture of slimemolds growing on decaying wood. Superglue + pva glue works well for giving the trims some texture. Quick painting guide: - Paint the edges in a dark brown and the top in a yellow-green-ish colour, spilling some over the brown is encouraged. - Give it a heavy brown wash, let it pool in the recesses to create the effect that the mold is growing over darker soil. - Give it a yellow drybrush or highlight the ridges manually. - If you didn't do that at the start add the model now, pinning works well for this. - optional: mix acrylic gloss medium with a bit of your green and yellow paint to create a slime effect paint (or use a dedicated effect paint) and apply it heavily around the feet of your model to create the effect that the the mold is spreading around them. - After the clearcoat of your choice paint the entire base with gloss medium, leaving only the brown parts on the sides matt. These bases are partially computer generated, so making other sizes is not that hard. If there is demand for that i'll probably do another batch, so feel free to message me if you need a certain size.
