## Redesigned Wallet This is a work in progress so if you have suggestions then please leave them in the comments so I can improve this wallet for myself and everyone else! ### Issues with the Original Design * The lever cracked the case. * The hinge was cracking apart. * To allow 1.75 mm filament as a hinge, I had to enlarge the hinge holes. * The wall thickness wasn't optimized for a 0.3 mm nozzle so the cards wouldn't fit and the model had to be scaled up to 101%. * The wallet couldn't hold enough cards. * There was no money holder. ### Resolved Issues #### Version 4.1 * I made the hinge larger so it won't break as easily. * I lowered the quick access card holder which provides more wall support and prevents cracking by the lever. To strengthen the wall on the other side, I added a money pocket which is useful in itself. * Since 0.4 mm nozzles are most popular and I have a 0.3 mm nozzle, I increased the wall thickness to 1.2 mm which would be compatible with both nozzles. This makes it stronger as requested by numerous comments on the original design. #### Version 4.2 * I reduced the overall thickness thereby scaling card thickness to a lower tolerance. * I slightly reduced lever thickness and added a 0.2 mm slot to allow it to slide in. With expected 0.2 mm layer height when printing, this should work well. * I decreased the tolerance between the lid and the case hinge. * I reduced filament hinge hole from 2.2 mm to 2.0 mm to better allow for 1.75 mm filament. * Testing a money clip extending from the money pocket! #### Version 4.3 * The money clip is even better now. #### Wallet Remix v34 - 55 mm quick card slot.stl * I reduced the overall width of the inside cards by 0.1mm to allow the lid to stay closed. * I continued with the money slot design where the lid stops the money from falling out. #### Wallet Remix v36 - 54.3 mm quick card slot.stl * I added a version with a smaller quick card slot for those who say that their card falls out.
