slim wall mount for metal/glass photos
thingiverse
I designed this to hold up metal/glass pictures I got on Groupon, which don't have any mounting area to them normally unless you pay an extra $10 a picture. So I designed these to secure them on at least two corners, with all four being even more secure. My original design just clamped it to the wall and that works for things like canvas that are pretty thick, but this one I designed the print to sit in a recess, which is why this one prints standing up versus laying down. The STL is for two pieces, one per corner, but I added both recesses and pins to make the print more stable. You snap off the pins between the prints after it's done printing, and I built them in recesses so the remnants won't scratch the wall. These also make a great temporary art holder for the fridge with magnets in the holes for the screws. Let me know of any way you think I can make this better as I'm new to design. Also, unless you have good adhesion, suggest at least a brim if not a raft to make sure they finish properly. This thing was made with Tinkercad.
