This mod relocates the three-part fans on the HE280 above the hot end. The primary goal of this modification is to accommodate a slim enclosure. In contrast, the stock fan layout positions the fans significantly outside the base frame when the head reaches the bed limits, hindering full travel within a narrow enclosure. Airflow may be reduced slightly, but it's directed more effectively. According to my experience, you shouldn't need to run the fans at 100% capacity. Before installing the shrouds, you'll have to trim the small plastic tabs on the effector plate.
