Slim Profile CR2032 Case with Print-In-Place Hinge

This is a portable CR2032 case that measures just ~6mm thick with a top that snaps close. The button cells are held by clips. The positive and negative marking holes serve to suggest the most secure orientation to place the batteries, and to allow probing to test the cell's voltage without removing the cells from the case. You can also poke your fingernail through the negative marking hole to easily dislodge the battery.

This design uses a print-in-place hinge but should not be too difficult to print with a 0.4mm clearance. I successfully printed using PETG with a 0.6mm nozzle (not the best combo for fine detailed work), 0.2mm layers, and no support or brim.

I have STL files for a 1, 4, and 6 cell case. Test your slicer settings with the 1 cell case first if you are unsure. :)

If you have lots of button cells, also consider my other design: https://www.printables.com/model/248493-cr20xx-coin-cell-holder-20
