Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:942115 from chrisdug, huge thanks are owed to this individual! Printing ABS and PLA has always been a breeze with my printer. However, printing flexible materials such as Soft PLA from Orbitech posed a significant challenge if the print exceeded 45 minutes in duration. The extruder would then reach temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius, causing the filament to jam within the worm-drive. With this straightforward and robust solution, all difficulties have vanished. A new extruder fan has been integrated into my setup, kicking in automatically whenever the hotend-fan (not the nozzle-fan) is activated. This clever addition allows me to attach the fan directly onto the printer's body housing without any risk of damage or structural compromise. The result is nothing short of impressive - it works flawlessly! For further information and detailed instructions on how to implement this solution, please refer to the instruction page.
