I'm taking a shot at modeling something from scratch. After scouring for an adapter to connect a slim DVD drive to a 5.25-inch bay, I stumbled upon either a dual-drive model that utilized excessive material or one that left me wondering if it was the right fit. So, I decided to give making my own a try. The square hole at the top of the adapter is designed for a dual USB port since I've got a surplus of extras in storage and there's an available slot on my motherboard just begging for one.
