<p>Slim mini wallet with pop-up card storage system. Just 5 meters of filament and 1 hour of printing!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/MuwtaBZ0kWc"></oembed></figure><p>&nbsp;</p><p>There are <strong>different versions available depending on the number of cards you want to store</strong>, it is recommended that you <strong>print the one that exactly matches the number of cards you have.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Extra optional parts</h3><ul><li><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/208722-bill-clip-for-slim-mini-wallet">Clip that hold bills</a>.</li><li><a href="https://www.printables.com/model/247163-purse-for-slim-mini-wallet">Purse to store coins</a>.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Updates</h3><ul><li><strong>2022-07-24:</strong> Added a remix to add a <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/247163-purse-for-slim-mini-wallet">purse to store coins</a>.</li><li><strong>2022-07-24:</strong> Improved measurements and tolerances to not require adjustments on most machines.</li><li><strong>2022-05-22:</strong> Added a remix to add a <a href="https://www.printables.com/model/208722-bill-clip-for-slim-mini-wallet">clip that hold bills</a>.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Printing</h3><ul><li><strong>Print one bottom and one top of the same version</strong> you want.</li><li>If you want good results <strong>do not print it at layer height of 0.2mm</strong>, the model is divisible in multiples of 0.3mm, therefore a layer height 0.3mm, 0.15mm, 0.10mm, etc... is more than recommended.</li><li><strong>If you print it at 0.3mm you will have your wallet in just one hour</strong>, print it at 0.1mm to have a better quality in twice the time.</li><li><strong>Models are already oriented as they should be printed and supports are not required.</strong></li><li>The covers are very thin and can be transparent, <strong>it is advisable to use intense or dark colors</strong>.</li><li><strong>Add a color change after printing the first layers to have the edges of the wallet in a different color than the covers.</strong></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Assembly</h3><p>To assemble this wallet you don't need anything additional, just your hands and the two printed parts.</p><p>Insert the bottom part into the top part in the open position of the wallet, first one side and then push the other until the parts fit.</p><p><strong>Make sure you assemble it with no cards inside.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you need to disassemble it, simply remove the cards, slide the back to its open position and then insert a finger through the slot in the wallet and pull it back.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Adjusting tolerances</h3><p><strong>With the new version this guide is not necessary, even so I leave it in case someone needs it.</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Both the cards and the parts of the wallet must have some friction between them. </strong>They should neither slide on their own nor should they get stuck.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>The model as it is should work for any printer</strong>, but if you have problems follow the next procedure.</p><ol><li>Print the bottom and put your cards into it.</li><li>If the friction is not correct scale only the X axis.</li><li>Once you have the bottom part how you want it, apply the same scale you applied to the bottom part to the top part and print it.</li><li>Now snap them together and check friction first without cards. Check the assembly instructions.</li><li>If the friction is ok, insert your cards now &nbsp;and check the friction again.</li><li>If step 4 or 5 isn't right, adjust the X axis scale from the top part again until everything works fine.</li></ol><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Bonus</h3><p><strong>Is the number of cards you need not available?</strong> Ask me and I may be able to make the version you need.</p>
