Slim Laptop Stand

Slim Laptop Stand

I'm working on a compact laptop stand designed to elevate the height of laptops for improved comfort and airflow. The stand is engineered to be printed entirely from TPU, allowing it to flex while maintaining sufficient strength to resist breakage. The design consists of four pieces: * Two bottom pieces that fit flush against the laptop's bottom. A small hole in each piece accommodates a portion of the top piece, securing the stand in place. The two bottom pieces feature an internal groove for inserting a metal rod or strong material, enhancing overall durability. These pieces must be combined with the reinforcing component inside. * Two top pieces that function as movable parts. Similar to the bottom pieces, they have internal grooves for strengthening via metal rods or thin materials. This part is inserted into the hole of the bottom piece and serves as the laptop's foot. To complete the stand, the two pieces are glued together, allowing them to open and close smoothly. The design has been thoroughly tested but requires a suitable adhesive to prevent the TPU from cracking or breaking apart. If you have any suggestions for gluing these parts together effectively, please share your ideas. I welcome feedback on this project and invite you to try printing it yourself. If you do, I'd appreciate your insights! You can also explore my profile to see other projects I'm working on. While I'm still learning the intricacies of modeling, I have a wealth of ideas waiting to be brought to life and shared with the community.
