This is a finely crafted iPhone 5 Snap-on Back case designed to safeguard your new iPhone's aluminum back and sides from scratches. It boasts a strong and precise fit that requires minimal adjustments to achieve perfect alignment. Ensure you fine-tune your printer settings to obtain accurate measurements, as they were previously optimized for optimal results. For the latest version, look for the file with the highest number at the end of its name. Instructions: Simply print and snap on this case. I printed mine using a 0.35mm nozzle and 0.20mm layer height. The best material to use is PLA, as it provides superior strength and better grip on the iPhone. Multiple STL files are available for download, each with distinct features: iPhone5Case4 is the initial public version, while iPhone5Case5 boasts a revised power button hole with a beveled edge for improved accessibility and reduced bottom clearance. Your feedback is highly valued, as it will help me refine this design further. iPhone5Case6 represents another revised version, featuring enhanced clearing around the power button and additional bottom clearance for the volume/mute buttons and phone speakers/lightning port. I also centered the apple logo on the back hole and added a clip for improved top fitting. Update 2012-09-24: I've uploaded an additional photo (multi-colored, printed with PLA) and the source file (SketchUp), as v6 appears to fit seamlessly. I encourage you to download the source and create derivatives, such as replacing the circular apple logo with a different design or experimenting with unique cutout styles on the back side.
