This adapter allows a common 10W outdoor LED light's LED unit to be attached in an extremely slim fashion. First, the main case must be completely disassembled and the transformer relocated with some extra wiring, leaving only the heat sink plus the LED unit in place. A separate housing is included for the "LED driver" that comes with the light, along with a bit of added space for connecting the wires. Initially, I considered designing a small enclosure for the plate to accommodate a miniature power switch, but it turned out to be better suited to utilize a commonly used switch intended for attachment to cables, often found on desk lights.
