Quick and dirty slimmer back cover for the 1013 (probably 1014 too). It lacks the originals tilting bail, but is a good 10 mm slimmer. Actually, the whole thing is now a tad slimmer than just the original back cover. Total 34mm now, 48mm original. Meh. *shrug* I like it better this way :) The original battery still fits: * Removed the battery from the original cover, make sure the foam pad remains on the battery * Placed the battery in a good spot on the PCB * Prod it up a little so that it clear the upper side of the little side panel * Drop a little super glue on the foam pad * Temporally attach the back cover, wiggle all into place and put a few books on top until the glue cures * Done The fit is not perfect. I had to finagle with the bottom side screws. I measured again and adjusted the x-distance of the screw pillars. Probably still not perfectly right. There is a lot to improve anyway. I skipped the fifth screw stud (and a sixth would be possible and sensible). It should get an alignment lip for the battery (to easify the process above). And there is still enough space to fit a smaller tilting bail. Oh, and if we are on it, the bottom corner should be rounded to... I said its quick and dirty!
