slightly less springy Lowrider2 Dewalt DW611 pen holder
prusaprinters
This is a remix of Tailslide's DW611 Pen Holder. I got rid of the zipties and use screws. I also tried to take out some springiness (I printed in PLA+ and it is still very springy). The two smaller pieces are superglued to the underside (sand the mating surfaces first) at the slit in the ring and a m3x20 screw is used to slightly spread the ring apart for a friction fit in the 611 plate. If you have the vacduct in place (I attached mine permanently so I removed the upper lip in Tailslides since I could not clip onto the top of the 611 plate because of the vacduct) , then the three m3 screws at the top should be slightly shorter than m3x8 to fit through the vacduct hole properly.I used panhead M4x8 screws and hex head m3 screws (three M3x8 and one M3x20 (although this one could be shorter). They all used the same size Allen wrench.I tried to design out some flex but it is still quite flexible. It printed in about an hour and a half at 0.28 layer height. The slit may be slightly fused since the gap is only 1mm but should separate very easily.Enjoy!
