Slightly Larger D&D Initiative Tracker
thingiverse
I've been having a tough time getting DrLeFonque's design to print out right. The problem was, whenever I tried printing it with the part on its side, things got complicated pretty fast. It seemed like the tiny pillar that forms the top of the frame was causing all sorts of issues. So, I decided to give it a shot and increase the dimensions of the model by 2mm. That way, the size of the pillar would be bigger, and I figured it might just make the print go more smoothly. And let me tell you, that's exactly what happened - the inside of the frame was still consistent with DrLeFonque's original design. But that wasn't all - I thought the frames looked a bit plain, so I decided to spice things up by adding some filigree-like relief details. Now, when I printed it out, those small features were kind of blurry, but that was exactly what I was going for, personally speaking. The filigree styles I used are: Diamonds, Bolt Heads, Leaves, and Thistles - all of which give the frame a unique look.
