UPDATE: Added a V2 option that uses less plastic and requires minimal window opening. Had some extra filament on hand, needed a window vent. This was cheaper and faster than ordering one online. The current model is designed for large scale 3D printing, specifically for printers like the CR-10S 400 (400mmx400mm build plate size) but can be modified to fit other printers by sliding vertices or cutting it down to size. As the models stand now, the assembled unit fits windows from 360mm (~14.17") wide to 1060mm (~42") wide and the mount/hole accommodates a 4" air duct. Print the models as is and they should assemble perfectly together. Mine slides smoothly. I use a 0.8mm nozzle and print at a layer height of 0.3mm with 5 bottom layers, 5 top layers, 4 outline layers and 30% infill. I could have gone lower but wanted this to last as long as possible. Leaving some space for infill like this also helps with insulation. No supports are needed and DO NOT PRINT WITH RAFTS! It won't assemble as easily if you print with rafts. Print one of each model - they all fit together to form the final part. You can also add foam to the edges or top and bottom of your window for a tighter seal.
