Sliding Test Lead / Cable Rack

This sliding tie rack is transformed into a test lead organizer by adding 3D printed hangers. The functionality of keeping test leads organized while hiding them under a workbench is preserved. Available at Leevalley, the rack requires printing as many hangers as needed in sizes for 4mm and 6mm slots. The author used 26 PLA-printed hangers on a 20" tie rack, but adjusted clips were also employed. Inserts fit tightly and may require filing or glue to secure the end cap. Custom slot sizes or hanger lengths can be achieved using Geomagic Design, Cubify, or Alibre software.
