Sliding Spice Rack 150
prusaprinters

This is the second sliding spice rack in a series. For this version, the basket is 150mm wide. You will need a large printer to be able to print this. The total length is 280mm.

The 100mm version is here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3402049

The 125mm version is here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3461574

The 200mm version is here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3415986

The top rail has to be put onto the base part before installing it in the cabinet. Slide the rail all the way forward and put in the screws. I used #6 wood screws 1/2 inch long. The basket is glued onto the top rail. I use an acrylic glue (SCIGRIP 16) that IMHO is better than super glue for PLA. It has some nasty chemicals in it though. It just requires careful application and good ventilation. Gloves are also recommended. Super glue works too!

Print with 3 walls and 10% to 35% infill. No support needed. Also recommend using a brim.

UPDATE 3/1/19: Added some pictures. I had a little problem with curling on the base, it's still a good enough print to use though. Recommend using a brim to prevent curling. The last pic the 150mm version is next to the 100mm version for size comparison.
Category: Kitchen & Dining
