Sliding Mobile Phone
3docean
This is a detailed model of a sliding smartphone. It was created using polygon modeling techniques and fully unwrapped for easy modification. The base mesh consists of 25,771 triangles, which expands to 412,312 triangles after applying turbosmooth on the four distinct components with two iterations. These components include the front, back, keypad, and rear camera panel. The MAX file format enables users to remove the turbosmooth modifier applied to the model and easily switch between low-poly base mesh and higher poly versions. This flexibility allows designers to experiment with different looks for their smartphone design. The FBX and OBJ formats contain the base mesh data, which can be subdivided to achieve smoother results. When importing the OBJ file, it's essential to import it as separate objects to maintain its structural integrity. The model includes material IDs and smoothing groups set up, making it simple to change colors or shaders on specific parts of the smartphone. Each shader has a unique name assigned to identify which part it is applied to. The full scene within the MAX file includes materials, camera settings, and lighting setup utilizing V-Ray. However, global illumination is not used in this scene setup. Additional resources included are: * Full texture examples for the front, back, keypad, and rear camera panel (in JPG format), along with original PSD files containing named layers. * 3D file formats: MAX, FBX, and OBJ * Full scene data, including camera settings and lighting configurations.
