Sliding Legolini Ball Bearing MOD
thingiverse
This is a Remix of Sliding Legolini (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4210059) The ball bearings ensure that jamming is prevented without requiring lubrication. You can also use a slightly stronger TheraBand tube for added stability. To assemble this remix, you will need: 6x Ball Bearing 685 (5x11x5mm) ----------------------------------------------- Calibration of the 3D printer is crucial before printing. Ensure that your extruder steps, flowrate, and first layer height are well-adjusted for optimal results. For maximum strength and durability, I recommend printing all elements with a wall thickness of 1.6 mm (4 shells), a bottom plate thickness of 1.2 mm, and top walls with an infill percentage of 25-30%. Printing at a slightly higher hotend temperature than usual is also recommended. Before proceeding, please read the Sliding_Legolini_Bow.pdf file for detailed instructions on printing. ------------------------ The lock is designed to prevent patio umbrellas from spinning around when tilted to block sunlight. It's specifically designed for 37mm umbrella poles, but may work for sizes ranging from 36-38mm without being tested.
