Human: Remix of Sliding Storage Drawers by Intentional3D. I designed this remix to maximize my printing bed size with a longer, slimmer version that can be printed in multiple parts. This allows for bigger storage drawers, use of multiple colors without a dual extruder setup, and better control over time and print quality. Exterior Size: 204x65x948 mm - 8.00x2.55x37.32 In The .stl file includes difficult supports (hexagonal pillars) that you can easily print with basic supports for the Sliders. Assembly requires Acetone Soldering or solid glue. I created this remix to take advantage of my printing bed size by making a longer, slimmer version. The original craft was limited in Z size due to the sliders, so I proposed breaking it into multiple parts. I even used the diagonals of my bed at 120% scaled size with a 35% Z angle. This setup is the largest a Prusa I3 can handle, using 24 out of the 25cm wide X Axis. Multiple part crafts offer several benefits: you can use multiple colors with a single extruder setup and better manage your time. Instead of a long print that may fail at the last 5%, you have smaller prints with fewer supports that are easier to print flat on the bed. Keep in mind that some simple post-printing soldering is still required.
