Sliding Closet Door floor guide
thingiverse
This is a guide for installing a closet door system that enables two doors to slide in front of or behind each other, providing access to one side of a closet or the other. This design is specifically tailored for closets with two large doors that overlap in the center and can slide left and right. It is not intended for bi-fold doors. The bracket mounts on the floor, typically requiring spacers underneath the screw holes if it's placed on carpet. These spacers are round plastic tubes, approximately 5/8" tall, which allow the bracket to maintain its correct height on the carpet. I designed this bracket by modifying an existing broken model and made sure it shares similar angles and rounded edges. However, my design is stronger than the original and functions perfectly. To facilitate removal from the printer's hotbed, I incorporated six small recesses at the bottom of the bracket. For a clearer understanding of how the bracket looks when installed, please refer to the linked image, which shows it in place on the floor, centered within the doorway. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/b1/93/db/b193db4386d642f92bdb2bbabf3df2cf.jpg Print Settings: Printer: Anet A6 Rafts: No rafts are needed for this print. Supports: No supports are required, as the design allows for smooth sliding motion without any obstructions. Resolution: Normal resolution is sufficient for this print job. Infill: The infill density has been set to 20% for optimal balance between strength and weight.
