Sliding Block for IKEA Vidga # flush mount

I created custom sliding blocks for the IKEA Vidga curtain rail system that allow for direct attachment underneath the ceiling. The sliding blocks fit snugly into the upper, smaller part of the profile and secure it in place with a countersunk screw. To access the screw's interface, you'll need to drill a hole through the profile, making sure it's at least as wide as your tool or preferably matching the diameter of the screw head. Below the shorter block, I designed a longer version featuring two mounting holes spaced 20mm apart, allowing for easy connection of two profiles. I printed these blocks from PETG with the countersunk side facing down towards the print bed. Other materials should also work just as well.
